The Story of Maria

Thursday is my scheduled day for wash day every week. This is where I do the cleaning of my room and washing my clothes. I considered it a tiring day the same as Tuesday. I wake up and taking bath early so that I will finish my chores ahead before nighttime. I conditioned myself first before doing chores, I always make sure that I already eat my breakfast and lunch before doing anything.  Today I will share with you my routine on how I do the laundry. First is the preparation stage. This is where I separate the colored clothes and the white ones. This is the order of my clothes; 1. Bathroom towels 2. OOTD tops 3. Pangbahay tops 4. Jackets 6. Pangbahay Shorts 7. OOTD pants 8. Footwear and foot towel (As you noticed, my underwear is not included on the list cause I wash it everyday after I take a bath) After the preparation stage, this is the time where I will start my laundry. We use a washing machine so doing laundry is not hard for me. Also, I have 3 tubs on the side, this is where I

Today, I decided to visit my boyfriend in his store to help him with his business (retail store). Every time I visit him, I volunteered as his cashier and secretary at the same time. I let him rest for a while in my free time. I am in charge of the sales and I enjoyed it a lot because I do challenge myself to mentally add and subtract the products that the customer bought, it helps me to not forget basic math (cause I'm an English major, math thing is a big deal for me :D) I'm having fun of what I am doing. Apart from having time with him, I also help him with his business, a dual-purpose indeed. I always make sure that every week there's a day that I spend time with him. Btw, we are going 7 years together in August! Yay! We are looking forward that his small business now will grow in the future. We are planning to upgrade it into a grocery store. There's a saying that "Behind every successful man there is a supportive woman" 

It's Tuesday! and this day is my busiest day. Our classes start at 8 am and ended at 6 pm. It was a tiring day yet a very productive day for me. I gained new learnings from today's lessons and I am confident that it will help me in the future. In an online discussion, many of us encountering the feeling of unmotivated and inactive in participating and listening in class so today I am going to share with you some of my tips on how to keep active and motivated in class. 1. Establish a productive learning environment - look for areas that are quiet and have a good ventilation   2.  Try to increase your interest in the work - it helps you to focus on the discussion 3. Make the work you're doing online more personally significant - just think positive and think about the good results of what you are doing now for the future Following these three steps will make you feel motivated, inspired, and energized in the online class.  Today, my senior high friends visited me in our house. It was 5 years ago when we started our friendship. We all have different paths now and I'm so amazed at what we have now. Some of my friends have their own family, some have their businesses, some have a high position in the company and some are continuing their studies like me. I'm so grateful and blessed with what we have now. This day is a blast!
